Born in Mexico City, Bernardo Castro is an award-winning composer and producer for visual media. His work can be heard in feature films, TV, and commercials. His career started at a recording studio in Mexico City, working for clients including Disney and in video games such as Gears of War 3.

He holds a master’s in film scoring from the Berklee College of Music and has four years of experience as an in-house composer at a renowned music house in Barcelona. These days, besides working internationally as a freelance composer, Bernardo oversees productions at Tomgirl Music + Sound, based in Los Angeles, and is a faculty member at LABASAD (Barcelona School of Arts and Design).
