Drawn to music from a very early age, he started playing the drums when he was 12 and recorded his first album at age 15, with a local rock band. It was around this time when he decided to start taking piano lessons.
In university he pursued a classical music degree and during his final year was granted a scholarship to study abroad at the University of Leeds, UK, where he focused more on music production.
Upon his return to Mexico he started working in a prestigious recording studio as an audio engineer for clients like Disney Latin America and for video games such as Gears of War 3.
